Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain HPC and cloud infrastructure using advanced technologies and hardware.
- Automate the deployment, configuration, and management of bare-metal servers, network switches, virtual machines, and other network and compute resources.
- Develop and streamline CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery across R&D engineering teams.
- Optimize infrastructure for availability, performance, observability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate automated testing and quality assurance into deployment workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure, networking, hardware, and software environments.
- Stay current with DevOps, infrastructure management, HPC, and emerging technology best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience building and maintaining DevOps processes, with a focus on automation and reliability.
- Experience with major Linux distributions including CentOS, Ubuntu, and RedHat.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Groovy scripting.
- Deep understanding of QEMU/KVM, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Strong expertise in on-premises networking and compute infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience working in agile DevOps teams and complex technical environments is preferred.
- Ability to achieve or exceed security, reliability, scalability, and availability goals is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of modern HPC and infrastructure architectures is preferred.
