Responsibilities

  • Lead the support, maintenance, enhancement, and optimisation of CNS infrastructure, applications, and DevOps services.
  • Design and maintain cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code frameworks, automation tooling, and deployment processes.
  • Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines, release planning, production deployments, and software delivery practices.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions, and investigate complex incidents and performance issues.
  • Drive root cause analysis, service improvement, capacity planning, cost management, resilience, and operational excellence.
  • Provide technical leadership to internal teams, delivery partners, vendors, and stakeholders while contributing to platform roadmaps and transformation projects.
  • Support security, governance, vulnerability management, patching, disaster recovery, business continuity, and regulatory compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in DevOps, infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform engineering roles.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives and supporting business-critical production environments.
  • Strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation tooling, configuration management, monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting highly available enterprise applications and services.
  • Experience working with external technology vendors, third-party providers, and delivery partners.
  • Strong DevOps, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance operational support, project delivery, continuous improvement, and technical decision-making.
  • Desirable: logistics, ports, customs, freight, or supply chain experience; Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud certifications; containerisation and orchestration experience; cybersecurity and governance knowledge; and Agile or hybrid delivery experience.
