Base Salary
$147k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write production-grade Python, Go, and TypeScript code integrating AI Gateway with microservices, API meshes, and multi-cloud architectures.
- Build custom middleware and plugins for identity-aware policies, prompt security, dynamic routing, and telemetry pipelines.
- Develop automated deployment modules using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes, along with SDK wrappers.
- Optimize high-throughput, low-latency traffic paths involving streaming payloads, caching, and load balancing.
- Lead Architectural Design Reviews with customer Principal Engineers and CISOs for zero-trust deployments.
- Pair-program with customer developers, troubleshoot live outages, review code, and influence the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 7+ years writing production code in Python, Go, TypeScript, or C++.
- Deep experience with gRPC, REST, WebSockets, and API gateways such as Envoy and Kong.
- Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, prompt security, token optimization, model routing, and vector databases/RAG architectures.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, AWS, GCP, Azure, OIDC/OAuth2, and zero-trust networking.
- Ability to own problems end-to-end and communicate enterprise architecture to customer technical stakeholders.
