Base Salary
$129k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build prototypes for classic signal processing and AI/ML signal processing.
- Develop, model, and test algorithms using real and simulated data.
- Deliver technical demonstrations and briefings to internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Provide technical guidance and insight to external customers.
- Develop the department’s business network with customer program offices.
- Lead projects from initial concept through execution or support business development with U.S. Government customers.
- Mentor junior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- At least 12 years of related experience for the Senior Engineering Specialist level, including modern communication systems engineering, digital signal processing, or AI/ML communications expertise.
- Strong coding experience in Python, C++, or Matlab.
- Experience developing within a Linux environment.
- Proven technical leadership and project leadership or U.S. Government customer business development experience.
- Demonstrated mentorship of junior staff.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes software-defined radio development with GNU Radio, USRP or similar SDR platforms, SIGINT, PNT, EW, DevOps, MLOps, or an active TS/SCI clearance.
