Base Salary
$144k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and storage solutions.
- Build, optimize, and maintain core data platform components, including event streaming and ETL workflows.
- Implement best practices for data quality, lineage, and access controls.
- Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deliver data capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and code reviews for team members.
- Evaluate and integrate new tools to improve data pipeline performance and observability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on data infrastructure.
- Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines at scale.
- Strong hands-on experience with modern data ecosystem tools like Snowflake, Kafka, and Spark.
- Experience building and integrating APIs for data ingestion and access.
- Good understanding of secure data handling and enterprise-grade security practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment is preferred.
- Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines or real-time analytics architectures is a plus.
