Base Salary

$149k - $361k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and operation of scalable cloud infrastructure for ML training and inference across AWS and GCP.
  • Architect and improve CI/CD systems for ML models and platform services.
  • Own low-latency real-time model inference infrastructure, including KV stores and vector databases.
  • Define observability standards covering model performance, drift detection, capacity planning, and pipeline health.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response and root-cause analysis for critical ML infrastructure.
  • Partner with data scientists and ML engineers to improve platform usability and accelerate model iteration.
  • Drive automation, resilience engineering, disaster recovery planning, and continuous operational improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or ML infrastructure, including 4+ years supporting large-scale ML or AI systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java for platform automation and tooling.
  • Deep Kubernetes and container orchestration experience on GCP or AWS, including GKE or EKS.
  • Expertise with NoSQL or low-latency data stores such as Aerospike or similar technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Airflow, and Kafka.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD systems with Jenkins or GitLab Runner.
  • Familiarity with Chronon and MLflow.
  • Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or similar tooling.
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar observability platforms.
  • Advanced coding efficiency using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Advertising domain experience is a plus.
