Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support software applications for the Vision NEXT platform.
- Build reliable event-driven data ingestion using RabbitMQ and webhooks with retry and idempotency patterns.
- Design and maintain data pipelines, enterprise data lake solutions, and large-volume data integrations.
- Develop Snowflake-based solutions for data storage, transformation, and consumption.
- Build API and data-validation test automation using RestAssured, Karate, and Postman/Newman.
- Support cloud-native applications in AWS, monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and assist with implementations, upgrades, migrations, and production support.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, clients, and internal teams to improve data processing, accessibility, reporting, and delivery.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development, software engineering, data engineering, or related technology disciplines.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java, C#, C++, C, Python, or similar programming languages.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL databases and data management solutions.
- 2+ years of experience developing or supporting applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, distributed application architectures, Snowflake, data lake technologies, or modern cloud data platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and/or military experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.
- Preferred experience includes financial services or payments, Java/Spring Boot, event-driven ingestion, API and data-validation automation, data-quality gates, AI/ML-enabled data use cases, Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift, Snowflake features, AWS data services, and VisionPLUS or Vision NEXT.
