Responsibilities
- Lead technical processes, designs, and end-to-end application architecture with focus on reliability, data integrity, maintainability, extensibility, usability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with infrastructure partners to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments.
- Define scalability and performance criteria, tune application performance, and address performance issues.
- Ensure applications meet performance, privacy, and security requirements and verify related test plans.
- Research and evaluate technologies and applications and contribute to solution design.
- Manage the software development process, estimate project costs, and drive technical and business process improvements.
- Partner with architects, product managers, project management, business partners, end-users, and cross-functional teams to deliver product and project outcomes.
- Support technical and business presentations, mitigate risk through established controls, and mentor or coach colleagues.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in software development methodologies, tools, programming languages, application architecture, scalability, performance, privacy, and security.
- Ability to serve as a trusted coach or mentor and communicate openly across the organization.
