Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of cloud-native database services.
- Design, implement, test, and deploy database services optimized for cloud environments.
- Deliver new features and integrations for Timestream for InfluxDB.
- Drive architecture, technical decisions, design tradeoffs, and feature prioritization.
- Lead projects and contribute hands-on technical work.
- Mentor engineers and managers and support engineering team development.
- Partner with senior executives on business targets and resource planning.
- Build and scale engineering teams through recruitment and talent development.
- Shape technical strategy for customer-facing solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
