Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure, software delivery tooling, observability, alerting, tracing, automation, and self-healing capabilities.
- Use Terraform, Python, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services to improve service reliability.
- Develop infrastructure and operations automation, including CI/CD processes and developer self-service tooling.
- Coordinate platform operations, identify and respond to issues, report incidents, and escalate them for remediation.
- Lead assigned technology initiatives and manage their end-to-end delivery.
- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analyses, and share findings with engineering and operations teams.
- Drive adoption of Site Reliability Engineering practices across development and operations teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- At least 3 years of experience maintaining production environments across cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- At least 5 years of experience developing and delivering products with languages such as Bash, Python, Golang, or Java.
- Advanced skills with Terraform, Helm, or Ansible, and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub and Artifactory.
- Practical experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools including Splunk or GCP Monitoring.
- Experience enhancing existing systems, building robust infrastructure, and automating processes.
- Experience working within Agile teams and sprint delivery cadences.
- Ability to triage issues, perform root-cause analyses, influence SRE practices, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and troubleshoot production issues.
