Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction for MONOPOLY GO! Chat features and systems in React Native.
- Translate ambiguous product goals into clear technical plans with various teams.
- Ensure quality, performance, and release readiness for mobile app changes.
- Mentor engineers and enhance technical decision-making within the team.
- Utilize generative AI tools to improve engineering workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in mobile app or complex product engineering.
- 5+ years of React Native development experience on shipped applications.
- Experience creating native modules or platform-specific integrations.
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering, including data structures and API design.
- Ability to identify and address mobile performance issues using profiling tools.
- Solid understanding of mobile networking and app lifecycle concerns.
- Experience leading technical design and mentoring engineers.
- Excellent technical communication skills for explaining tradeoffs.
- Desire to address player and stakeholder feedback for application development.
