Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to identify and scope high-impact AI and automation opportunities, including business problems, success metrics, feasibility, risks, and ROI.
- Map and analyze processes, systems, data flows, bottlenecks, assumptions, and failure modes across the existing tool landscape.
- Design and deliver scalable automation, AI-based systems, intelligent routing, and workflow orchestration from proof of concept through production.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams on data models, ingestion and transformation pipelines, automation, analytics, and decision-making workflows.
- Integrate internal platforms through APIs and webhooks and establish quality, performance, and safety monitoring.
- Partner with Security, Legal, and Privacy to ensure compliant data use and vendor management.
- Create documentation, runbooks, and handovers to support sustainable operations and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of business processes and process mapping, optimization, measurable efficiency gains, edge cases, and failure modes.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java and strong SQL skills for automation, data transformation, and system integration.
- Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience executing automations and building and running LLM- and AI-agent workflows in production.
- Conceptual DevOps knowledge including Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment practices sufficient to prepare solutions for standardized deployment.
- Familiarity with APIs and webhooks, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder communication, ownership, code/design review participation, and cost-versus-performance judgment.
