Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve internal Python frameworks and packages used by Test Development Engineers.
- Develop and maintain Django/DRF backend services, React/TypeScript frontend features, and PostgreSQL-backed applications.
- Implement feature requests and bug fixes, improve code quality and test coverage, and design intuitive public APIs.
- Own Jenkins and Gradle CI/CD pipelines, including build automation, package publishing to Artifactory, integration tests, and release workflows.
- Manage Dockerfiles, Docker Compose configurations, containerization, and deployment workflows while preparing for Kubernetes orchestration.
- Collaborate with distributed Software, ASIC, DSP, Systems Engineering, and Test Development teams to deliver reliable internal tooling.
- Use AI development tools for code generation, debugging, documentation, and productivity.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in software engineering, backend development, or infrastructure engineering.
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, or a related engineering discipline.
- Expert-level Python knowledge, including packaging and library design.
- Full-stack web development experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask; REST API design; and DRF.
- Required PostgreSQL experience, with familiarity with SQL, ORMs, and migrations.
- Required ReactJS experience; TypeScript experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with Git and collaborative workflows such as pull requests, branching, and code review.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins and Jenkinsfiles.
- Experience with Docker and Docker Compose; Kubernetes exposure is an advantage.
- Strong debugging ability across Python packages, APIs, databases, and container networking.
- Added advantages include Grafana, PowerBI, analytics or visualization platforms, data engineering, ETL, Kubernetes, Helm, container orchestration, Artifactory, and PyPI mirrors.
