Senior Technical Consultant, Solutions Development

Responsibilities
- Drive configuration, installation, adoption, and implementation of custom client solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between business users, internal development staff, clients, and third-party vendors.
- Consult with clients on software implementation and industry best practices.
- Provide subject matter expertise for the Encompass SDK and API.
- Perform business-user quality assurance testing, light scripting, and formula derivation to automate processes.
- Translate field-level data points to third-party systems.
- Provide technical implementation support and document installation instructions.
- Reproduce customer issues, develop failure scenarios, and perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Support sales through positioning and quoting custom development services.
- Gather requirements and specifications for technical Statements of Work for Professional Services engagements.
- Design and architect custom solutions and define use cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of technical experience troubleshooting mission-critical application solutions.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Experience with XML and JSON.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C# and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of overall application architectural components.
- Mortgage industry and Encompass experience preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for business and technical audiences.
- Ability to explain technical instructions and concepts in clear, non-technical terms.
- Team-oriented, professional, and cooperative attitude.
