Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal platforms and tools for various teams.
- Own features end-to-end, including requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Build API-first integrations across the internal ecosystem.
- Design for reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Eliminate data silos and build clean data pipelines.
- Monitor and respond to incidents in production services.
- Implement AI/LLM-powered features into internal workflows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate pain points into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and raise the technical bar through reviews.
- Propose architectural improvements and drive best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly with internal tools.
- Strong full-stack or backend engineering skills, proficient in Python, Go, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with API integrations between third-party SaaS platforms.
- Strong data fundamentals, including relational databases and SQL.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and deliver solutions independently.
- Clear communication skills to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
