Responsibilities
- Recommend implementation approaches for products in public and private cloud environments.
- Build deployment automation based on selected cloud architectures.
- Improve cloud capabilities in deployment automation, monitoring, and log management.
- Develop training and handoff materials for cloud support functions.
- Collaborate with R&D to establish cloud readiness standards and product handoff procedures.
- Work with portfolio teams to introduce new cloud capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5–8 years of software industry experience.
- 3–5 years of public cloud experience.
- Ability to understand and build high-level cloud architectures.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with emerging cloud technologies.
- Preferred experience with Linux command line skills, object-oriented programming, Kubernetes, serverless technologies, single sign-on, public cloud providers, deployment technologies, monitoring tools, and load-balancing technologies.
