Base Salary
$168k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve CI/CD infrastructure to improve build times and deployment frequency.
- Build and maintain the developer portal, including service catalog and TechDocs integration.
- Create golden path templates for various services that incorporate best practices.
- Develop internal developer tooling to accelerate engineering workflows.
- Configure and roll out AI-assisted coding tools with organizational guardrails.
- Create self-service capabilities for teams to ship independently.
- Drive adoption of platform capabilities through documentation and education.
- Work with the SRE team to measure developer experience metrics.
- Implement security and compliance automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience in building developer tooling or CI/CD systems.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Experience with developer portals or internal platform tooling, preferably Backstage.
- Experience with Kubernetes deployments and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages.
- Frontend development skills for building portal UI and developer tools.
- Strong systems thinking for designing scalable and reliable solutions.
- Excellent written communication skills.
