Responsibilities
- Develop application systems that integrate with existing enterprise applications and legacy systems.
- Determine infrastructure approaches for new and emerging enterprise requirements.
- Perform detailed systems design and analysis and write high-quality code.
- Support communication between IT systems, application components, and users.
- Prepare and present technical concepts, design approaches, and solution overviews.
- Collaborate with functional teams to define and refine technology frameworks for delivery systems.
- Apply AI-assisted tools across code generation, refactoring, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Review, secure, and optimize AI-generated backend and frontend code.
- Participate in code deployments during some weekends as needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on software development experience.
- At least 6 years of experience with modern frontend technologies including ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JSX, JavaScript, Git, Node.js, npm, and Redux.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, full-stack development, React workflows such as Flux or Redux, and integration of APIs.
- Strong object-oriented programming, software analysis, design-pattern, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of distributed and multi-tiered architectures, algorithms, and database concepts.
- Experience with full software development life cycle activities, preferably in financial services or a related domain.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot for Java, Spring Boot, and React development.
- Experience using AI for unit and integration testing, including JUnit, Mockito, or Jest.
- Awareness of responsible AI, data security, compliance, and application security vulnerabilities.
- Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud development practices.
- Familiarity with SAML 2.0 authentication standards is preferred.
- Experience with Bootstrap, JavaScript fundamentals, DOM manipulation, event handling, prototypal inheritance, and object creation.
- Experience with CI/CD, static and dynamic code analysis tools, containers, and cloud environments.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate effectively.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and participate in Scrum or Agile teams.
