Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction, end-to-end designs, and core implementation for Merchant Center experiences and Shopping Graph data systems.
- Build clean, scalable software pipelines and robust inference or serving paths with low latency, high throughput, and cost-efficient inference.
- Establish technical roadmaps, lead ambiguous quality initiatives, and mentor junior to mid-level engineers.
- Develop, test, and maintain software supporting Merchant Center data ingestion and feed management.
- Use LLMs and Gemini to build product-data-quality autoraters and automate testing workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience testing and launching software products and 3 years of software design and architecture experience.
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience across back-end and front-end codebases, including Java, Python, Golang, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS.
- Experience in prompt engineering or multi-agent systems.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years working in a complex, matrixed organization and 3 years in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
