Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Map machine learning operators to low-level hardware instructions using graph transformation, scheduling, memory planning, quantization, and operator implementation.
- Extend machine learning training or runtime frameworks and model-efficiency tools with new features and optimizations.
- Develop optimized machine learning kernels, compiler tools, and model-efficiency software for Qualcomm hardware features.
- Collaborate on the co-design and development of machine learning hardware and software for inference or training solutions.
- Apply machine learning techniques to products and AI solutions and prototype complex algorithms, models, or frameworks.
- Conduct experiments to train and evaluate machine learning models and software independently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on performance-optimization skills and proficient C/C++ programming.
- Machine learning knowledge and experience with Linux or Android development environments and tools.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and computer hardware architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe, Caffe2, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Preferred: 2+ years of embedded systems development and optimization for machine learning domains such as NLP or multimedia.
- Preferred: 2+ years of C/C++ experience, ideally at the embedded level.
- Preferred: 2+ years of statistics and probability experience, including conditional probability and Bayes’ rule.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- Preferred: 1+ year of low-level interaction between operating systems and hardware.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience interacting with senior leadership at the director level or above.
