Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of solution or infrastructure development services for large or complex projects.
Design, develop, deliver, and maintain software or infrastructure solutions while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting for complex and escalated project issues.
Provide advanced technical expertise and implement continuous improvement plans for efficiency, reliability, and value.
Collaborate with Development & Engineering and Architecture teams to develop and engineer solutions.
Lead the work group by establishing appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools, and responsibilities.
Drive consistency in processes, procedures, standards, and technical design.
Fine-tune language models for tasks such as text generation, summarization, and question answering.
Design agentic systems, embedding-based NLP applications, and evaluation frameworks for AI models and agents.

Advanced technical proficiency in designing, developing, and debugging solutions.
Advanced knowledge of one or more of C#, Java, or Python.
More than 10 years of applied experience.
Significant relevant experience in an internal or external software or platform engineering role, or a similar role.
Experience delivering software or platform engineering solutions and providing comprehensive technical advice based on user requirements.
Experience with code management, configuration management, and automation tools such as GitHub and ADO.
Proficiency in fine-tuning language models for specific tasks.
Knowledge of embedding models and their use in similarity matching, clustering, and information retrieval.
Familiarity with designing and implementing agentic systems that combine AI models with external tools or environments.
Ability to design evaluation frameworks for AI models and agents, including metrics, A/B testing, and performance benchmarking.
Experience building applications with container-orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and container engines such as Docker.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
Microsoft, Google, or AWS certifications are desirable.
Experience delivering using modern methodologies is desirable.
