Responsibilities

Ship production code and customer-facing features early in the role.
Own features end to end, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring metrics, and fixing issues.
Use AI for coding, debugging, testing, research, and workflow automation, and help advance the team’s use of AI.
Collaborate directly with Product, Design, and senior engineers.
Build backend services, APIs, and interfaces, or develop data and ML pipelines, models, and production systems depending on the selected track.

Be at the start of a software career without prior full-time software experience.
Have a technical foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar field, or demonstrate equivalent ability through code.
Provide demonstrable projects such as a GitHub portfolio, deployed application, widely used repository, hackathon win, open-source contribution, or useful bot.
Have built with AI, such as agents, RAG systems, evaluations, fine-tunes, or automation tools, and use AI tools regularly in software development.
Demonstrate strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and systems thinking through experience such as competitive programming, a strong thesis, or serious research.
Have English proficiency for daily technical communication.
Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and the ability to complete work independently.
Basic Portuguese proficiency or willingness to learn it is preferred.
