Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision and architecture for the customer-facing platform.
- Review critical designs and drive projects involving complex technical challenges.
- Be accountable for core company initiatives spanning onboarding and compliance.
- Identify strategic technology directions and propose architecture approaches.
- Plan and deliver large, complex cross-organizational programs.
- Define patterns and operational guidelines for engineering practices.
- Provide technical guidance to raise security, reliability, and quality standards.
- Mentor and develop engineers, leading initiatives across domains.
- Drive the organization toward a strategic vision for strong systems and culture.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with complex production systems.
- Recognized expertise in core technical domains with accountability for initiatives.
- History of driving architecture and design across multiple teams.
- Ability to set technical vision with company-level impact.
- Fluency across multiple layers of the stack and willingness to dive deep.
- Proficiency in a typed language and comfort with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience building consumer-facing applications with strong UX sensibility.
- Fluency in using AI coding tools and automation.
- Record of developing engineers and influencing prioritization across teams.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
