Base Salary
$168k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and improve high-performance software agents.
- Build software for Linux, Unix, and Windows across aarch64, x86_64, s390x, and ppc64_le architectures.
- Develop network policy enforcement functionality controlled by a central controller.
- Build capabilities that monitor and protect container-based deployments.
- Analyze interactions among applications, processes, and operating system kernels.
- Participate in design, prototyping, production deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing product improvement.
- Collaborate with software, data engineering, data science, UX/UI, and technical support teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of software development experience, or a master's degree with at least 4 years of software development experience.
- Experience with systems programming in C or C++, including multithreaded and multiprocess application development.
- Knowledge of operating system fundamentals, including threads, processes, file systems, networking, and inter-process communication.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex software systems.
- Preferred experience with Windows systems programming, networking technologies, host-based firewalls, crash dump analysis, Golang, operating-system kernels or other low-level components, and containerized, cloud, or distributed computing environments.
