Responsibilities
- Develop and improve tools and software for a global multi-asset trading platform.
- Collaborate directly with traders and quantitative researchers to identify solutions and define technical specifications.
- Manage technology initiatives from ideation through deployment.
- Optimize distributed systems and support data-intensive systems development.
- Collaborate with software engineers and support teams across the organization.
- Drive projects from inception to completion and teach others.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of professional software development experience with a detailed understanding of Python.
- Strong preference for experience developing trading-related software or working in a complex technology-based organization.
- Ability to analyze business requests and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Experience optimizing distributed systems and developing data-intensive systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with other programming languages is a plus.
- Must be able to work from the London office five days per week.
