Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Apply system design, low-level design, API design, and data modelling practices to build scalable services and product capabilities.
- Translate business and analytical requirements into technical solutions with engineers, product managers, analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Diagnose technical issues, improve application performance and reliability, and contribute to monitoring, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Build and operate AI-powered analytics features including conversational analytics, natural-language-to-SQL, automated insight summaries, and self-service decision tools.
- Safely integrate and evaluate AI/ML-enabled solutions and review their outputs for accuracy.
- Prototype quickly, ship early, and turn successful ideas into reusable self-service capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience delivering production-quality applications or services.
- Experience owning and delivering features or services in an analytics, data, or product engineering domain.
- Proficiency in programming, version control, automated testing, API development, data modelling, and system design.
- Foundational understanding of analytics, metrics, data modelling, and data-driven decision-making.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools and reviewing generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Preferred: experience building and operating analytics products or data-intensive services at scale.
- Preferred: experience contributing to architecture and technical design decisions and using observability, automation, testing, and continuous delivery practices.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML-enabled products or workflows, including agents, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, or MCP tools.
- Preferred: experience with front-end or full-stack development and interactive user-facing products.
