Responsibilities
- Own and develop key features and components for the Ecosystem Team.
- Design and develop products involving Kubernetes, OpenStack, and related technologies.
- Participate in requirements, design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Design and implement automation tests for the CI/CD pipeline.
- Instrument code to collect metrics for monitoring and supportability.
- Address issues identified in the CI pipeline or production environments.
- Collaborate across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and domain teams.
- Participate in code reviews and an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on software development experience using Go, Java, or C++.
- Strong programming skills and knowledge of computer science fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with the Spring Framework.
- Strong system design and object-oriented design skills.
- Experience implementing REST APIs and integrating them with frontend applications and other services.
- Understanding of networking and distributed systems design.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver on schedule.
- BS or MS in Computer Science.
- Preferred: experience in agile environments and familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other infrastructure software.
- Preferred: experience deploying global services in AWS or Azure and working on enterprise-scale live services.
- Preferred: understanding of complex deployment issues, including security, networking, load balancers, service dependencies, and disaster recovery.
