Responsibilities
- Advise major customers and resolve complex MongoDB architecture, performance, recovery, security, and infrastructure problems.
- Provide expertise on running MongoDB systems at scale, including database servers, drivers, cloud services, and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot scalable and highly available distributed systems, databases, networks, and applications.
- Advocate for customer needs by interfacing with product management and development teams.
- Contribute to internal software tools for performance analysis, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
- Develop expertise in the MongoDB ecosystem and eventually handle technical escalations independently.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of systems administration, systems troubleshooting, scalable and highly available distributed systems, network administration, application architecture, data architecture and design, and database architecture and administration.
- Experience with performance tuning, benchmarking, and technical support.
- B.Tech, B.S., or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, composure under pressure, rapid learning ability, and strong teamwork.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern AI concepts and AI-assisted troubleshooting tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of one or more of Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Node.js, Go, PHP, or Perl.
