Responsibilities
- Identify regulatory requirements, determine applicable Security Assessment and Accreditation processes, and support stakeholder concurrence on information protection needs.
- Evaluate, select, and define system security architectures and cybersecurity controls.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, threat risk analyses, impact assessments, and vulnerability testing.
- Assess operating systems and containerized environments for real-world exploitability.
- Ensure cybersecurity frameworks align with military and industry standards.
- Develop and execute Security Test Procedures to verify system security requirements through evidence-based testing.
- Support internal and external audits by creating and maintaining security artifacts and Security Assessment and Accreditation documentation.
- Mentor less senior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of related cybersecurity experience.
- Experience supporting secure system engineering, ideally in military environments.
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience conducting technical security testing, including system, network, or application assessments.
- Experience supporting vulnerability management workflows, including CVE/CWE tracking and remediation.
- Experience with or familiarity with AI/ML models.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, motivation, and time management skills.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to obtain and maintain applicable Canadian government security clearance and other security assessments.
