Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a pod of full-stack engineers to build and maintain IAM capabilities.
- Contribute to backend and frontend codebases with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
- Participate in technical design discussions and break projects into actionable tasks.
- Identify and recommend improvements to authentication and authorization flows.
- Maintain IAM systems, including investigating and resolving production issues affecting uptime.
- Work with product, security, and legal stakeholders to support compliance and user-data integrity.
- Stay informed about evolving security practices, frameworks, and technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with authentication protocols, SSO including SAML and OAuth, RBAC, and MFA.
- Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, and Apollo.
- Passion for IAM and security, including understanding the threat landscape.
- Collaborative approach with a willingness to share knowledge and ideas.
- Commitment to clean, maintainable code and strong engineering practices.
