Base Salary
$193k - $289k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, integrate, test, and debug software solutions for end-user customers.
- Support the architecture, development, and lifecycle management of embedded and real-time systems.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and Integration & Test teams in an Agile development environment.
- Analyze system capabilities and troubleshoot issues involving program intent, output requirements, data acquisition, programming methods, and control strategies.
- Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with rapid development cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 14+ years of software development experience, or a master’s degree with 12+ years, or a Ph.D. with 10+ years.
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required at the time of application.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ development.
- Extensive experience with VxWorks Real-Time Operating System.
- Hands-on experience with GPUs and/or CUDA, including developing, optimizing, or troubleshooting GPU-accelerated applications.
- Preferred qualifications include Directed Energy program experience, image processing, Linux or Red Hawk Linux, low-level development, Curtis-Wright VPX processors, Acromag AcroPack interface VPX cards, MATLAB, and adaptive optics processing.
