Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve Kotlin services and frameworks for APIs, build and test tooling, automation, and developer workflows.
  • Maintain and improve the internal developer tool written in Go.
  • Improve CI/CD caching, parallelism, test reliability, and feedback-cycle speed.
  • Partner across teams to standardize workflows, enable self-service integrations, and reduce friction.
  • Define and improve developer-experience metrics such as lead time, build time, and test flakiness.
  • Implement observability, guardrails, secure-by-default patterns, and reliability improvements.
  • Define AI-ready module boundaries, API contracts, semantic context, and structured repository documentation.
  • Design and implement multi-step agent workflows with tool use, autonomous execution, and human-gated checkpoints.
  • Run experiments with real users and iterate based on evidence and measurable learning velocity.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape product outcomes and share knowledge across the organization.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • Production experience with Kotlin or Java, including JVM performance, testing, and dependency management.
  • Solid cloud-native engineering experience with containers and Kubernetes; AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience is a plus.
  • Experience with developer platforms, internal tooling, and CI/CD at scale.
  • Exposure to Go and multi-language ecosystems is preferred.
  • Previous experience working on developer or internal tooling is preferred.
  • Open-source contribution experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, curiosity, adaptability, and proactive working style.
  • Product-oriented engineering mindset and ability to explain user impact.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants and interest in agent-native architecture.
