Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction, execution, tasking, and prioritization of a small CNO development team.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for project leadership, government stakeholders, and mission partners.
- Design, architect, and develop custom tools and capabilities targeting embedded and telecommunications systems.
- Oversee proofs of concept derived from discovered vulnerabilities and transition them into robust operational codebases.
- Guide reverse engineering and vulnerability research against complex Linux-based and embedded systems.
- Analyze firmware, operating system internals, wireless protocols, and software protections to identify exploitable security flaws.
- Direct tooling development for analyzing and manipulating software and firmware binaries.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and present technical findings, progress, and capability demonstrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience in security research, reverse engineering, vulnerability research, or exploit development.
- At least 7 years of experience designing, developing, and prototyping low-level applications or cyber capabilities.
- Experience leading small technical teams or serving as a technical lead on complex cyber programs.
- Strong client-facing communication experience with technical concepts and government stakeholders.
- Experience with Python, C, C++, or related systems-level programming languages.
- Experience with operating system internals, network socket programming, IP and TCP, application-level protocols, reverse engineering x86/ARM binaries, and embedded systems.
- Experience tracing code execution with WinDbg, GDB, or an equivalent debugger.
- Expertise in one or more of firmware analysis, fuzzing, exploit development, wireless protocols, file system forensics, fault injection, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.
- Preferred qualifications include vulnerability analysis, ASLR and DEP, CI/CD pipelines, virtualized test ranges, firmware or driver development, memory management, telecommunications systems, 5G, and a graduate degree.
