Base Salary
$165k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate the container networking layer for Kubernetes platforms.
- Evolve the CNI stack to support high-density GPU clusters.
- Collaborate with Kubernetes, Infrastructure, and Network Services engineers.
- Ensure the platform is highly available, observable, and secure.
- Take ownership of the networking platform from prototype through production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Systems Engineer in cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on production experience with Cilium CNI or equivalent advanced CNIs.
- Strong understanding of Cilium’s eBPF datapath and policy model.
- Deep knowledge of cloud networking concepts including VPCs and routing.
- Experience designing multi-tenant network architectures with strong isolation.
- Solid grounding in TCP/IP and dynamic routing.
- Experience with network observability and troubleshooting across L3–L7.
- Proficiency in at least one systems language such as Golang or C/C++.
- Experience operating Kubernetes at scale.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex systems end-to-end.
