Base Salary
$170k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design high-performance, extensible, and scalable solutions for embedding Xometry AI into external PLM environments.
- Lead the strategic direction and execution of the Siemens-Xometry integration across multiple STO teams.
- Integrate production ML pipelines into the application layer through optimized model serving and real-time geometry analysis.
- Establish engineering patterns, reliability standards, security standards, and enterprise SLIs/SLOs for Siemens-hosted and Xometry-hosted deployments.
- Address data gravity, security, ring-fenced data governance, and multi-tenant management requirements.
- Facilitate technical decisions across Xometry and act as a primary technical contact for senior leadership and Siemens engineering groups.
- Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development practices and collaborate across marketplace and data science teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software development experience scaling complex platforms.
- Expert-level proficiency with Python, AWS infrastructure, and modern frontend frameworks including React and NextJS.
- Experience shaping technical direction across multiple teams and establishing organizational engineering standards.
- Track record of securing support for 6–12 month initiatives and delivering them to production.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and external partners on technical strategy and technology investments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with SaaS platforms or complex B2B integration hubs is preferred.
- Manufacturing, logistics, CAD, or PLM experience with systems such as NX, Teamcenter, or Solid Edge is preferred.
- Understanding of enterprise data controls, dedicated tenants, and SOC2/ISO compliance in cloud environments is preferred.
- Experience architecting large-scale ML platforms or high-frequency marketplace engines is preferred.
