Base Salary
$137k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive security architecture, design, implementation, and optimization for web, API, mobile, and AI-agent applications.
- Define security requirements, analyze threats and risks, and align solutions with security, engineering, IT, and architecture standards.
- Conduct security reviews and threat modeling throughout the development lifecycle.
- Facilitate tabletop, red-team, and scenario-analysis exercises and coordinate remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes and scalable enterprise cybersecurity products using AI and machine learning.
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity tools, companies, technologies, and practices.
- Transition prototypes into operational products with cybersecurity product-development teams and internal stakeholders.
- Automate security tools and processes for access control, defense-in-depth, secure coding, and AI-agent governance.
- Monitor cybersecurity trends and develop protections across payment platforms, public clouds, applications, databases, and enterprise infrastructure.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience developing agentic AI applications.
- Experience developing highly available and scalable enterprise services using Python; Java, Go, Rust, or another object-oriented language is also relevant.
- Hands-on GenAI experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, fine-tuning, AI agents, or agentic pipelines.
- Cybersecurity training or education.
- Preferred experience includes 2–5 years of relevant work, at least 1 year of agentic AI development, and at least 3 years developing Python enterprise services.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; LLMs such as GPT, Claude, or Mistral; vector databases; and AI-agent orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with AI model APIs, AI-agent frameworks, model evaluation, cloud-native development, containerization, distributed systems, RDBMS, and NoSQL databases.
- Expertise in threat modeling, application and network security, and securing on-premises, multi-cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Understanding of PCI, HIPAA, SOX, and GLB requirements and strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
