Responsibilities
- Design, provision, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise infrastructure on Alibaba Cloud.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and manage Infrastructure as Code provisioning, state, testing, and configuration consistency.
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Harness CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Administer Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications, including resources, networking, storage, security, autoscaling, Helm charts, operators, and controllers.
- Develop and integrate Open Policy Agent policies using Rego for automated security, compliance, and governance controls.
- Support platform reliability, production incident investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, documentation, runbooks, releases, and platform upgrades.
- Collaborate with Development, Cloud Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and Operations teams across globally distributed environments.
- Support business-critical applications operating in a 24x7 global hospitality environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related technical roles.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a senior DevOps or Cloud Platform Engineering role.
- Strong production experience with Alibaba Cloud and services including ECS, VPC, SLB/ALB, NAT Gateway, RAM, and OSS.
- Strong Terraform experience, including reusable modules, state management, remote backends, workspaces, providers, dependencies, and CI/CD integration.
- Strong Harness experience designing and maintaining pipelines, connectors, environments, deployment stages, approval workflows, and deployment strategies.
- Hands-on Open Policy Agent and Rego experience, including policy testing and integration with Kubernetes or CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong production Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting experience, including Docker, Helm, operators, custom resources, controllers, networking, RBAC, storage, scheduling, and security.
- Experience with Alibaba Cloud ACK or equivalent managed Kubernetes services.
- Preferred experience with enterprise CDN and edge solutions such as Akamai or Tencent Cloud EdgeOne, including caching, WAF, access control, and edge security.
- Experience developing automation with Python, Bash, Shell, or similar scripting languages.
- Understanding of cloud networking, VPC connectivity, routing, gateways, NAT, VPN, DNS, load balancing, CEN, hybrid-cloud networking, and network segmentation.
- Experience supporting large-scale high-availability enterprise platforms and globally distributed technical teams.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, GitOps, cloud security, enterprise change management, and relevant Alibaba Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, or cloud security certifications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, ownership, collaboration, communication, and English-language skills.
