Responsibilities
- Design and lead development of legal and regulatory requirements in the existing intelligent metering and market communication solution.
- Analyze complex customer issues and guide or implement solutions to ensure smooth product operation.
- Design and architect scalable, resilient, fault-tolerant AI-native application systems and components.
- Build advanced RAG pipelines and multi-agent evaluation and benchmarking frameworks for AI quality, reliability, and performance.
- Optimize system latency, throughput, scalability, maintainability, and cost efficiency while improving integrations with platform, data, and AI teams.
- Develop and operate solutions covering intelligent metering device lifecycle and automated energy-market communication processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the development team.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing distributed systems and scalable applications with strong system design, resiliency, and fault-tolerance skills.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, advanced RAG patterns, agentic workflows, performance optimization, cost management, and troubleshooting.
- Rich experience in ABAP development, including ABAP Objects; RAP and BOPF experience is preferred.
- UI5, Fiori, and SAP Web Services knowledge is beneficial.
- Technical leadership and mentoring ability.
- Industry experience in utilities and knowledge of metering processes, device management, or energy data management is a plus.
- German language proficiency at a minimum C1 level is required for customer and regulatory stakeholder interaction.
