Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical authority for dexterous manipulation.
  • Create the long-term technical roadmap for hand control and multi-fingered coordination.
  • Design and enforce foundational software frameworks for manipulation.
  • Lead the strategy for high-fidelity simulation and policy transitions.
  • Drive specifications for next-generation hardware requirements.
  • Oversee the transition from experimental research to fleet-wide deployment.
  • Foster a culture of technical rigor and mentor junior robotics engineers.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in multi-fingered hand control and grasp planning.
  • Proficiency in learning-based control for robotics.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with real-time robotic software.
  • Experience with physics engines for policy training and validation.
  • BS/MS/PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in robotic manipulation or complex motion control.
