Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for dexterous manipulation.
- Create the long-term technical roadmap for hand control and multi-fingered coordination.
- Design and enforce foundational software frameworks for manipulation.
- Lead the strategy for high-fidelity simulation and policy transitions.
- Drive specifications for next-generation hardware requirements.
- Oversee the transition from experimental research to fleet-wide deployment.
- Foster a culture of technical rigor and mentor junior robotics engineers.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in multi-fingered hand control and grasp planning.
- Proficiency in learning-based control for robotics.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with real-time robotic software.
- Experience with physics engines for policy training and validation.
- BS/MS/PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in robotic manipulation or complex motion control.
