Responsibilities
- Apply formal verification methods with Certora or equivalent tools to prove smart contract invariants and identify bugs before audits.
- Conduct security reviews of internally developed smart contracts and identify critical vulnerabilities before production.
- Own the smart contract bug bounty program, including triage, researcher communication, finding validation, and war-room coordination.
- Develop periphery smart contracts that extend Morpho’s protocol safely and audibly.
- Research emerging attack vectors, bug classes, and security tooling.
- Represent Morpho at security conferences and meetups and through articles or research writeups.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent depth of knowledge.
- At least 3 years of smart contract auditing experience with a proven record of identifying critical vulnerabilities.
- Deep knowledge of the Ethereum Virtual Machine, Solidity, and the broader blockchain ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Certora or an equivalent formal verification tool.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write vulnerability reports and research articles.
- Genuine interest in DeFi and lending protocols.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving, async-first environment with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
- Clear written async communication and a team-first approach.
