Responsibilities
- Design and develop Oracle E-Business Suite technical solutions based on business and functional requirements.
- Create technical specifications, unit test plans, installation plans, interfaces, database structures, forms, reports, and control procedures.
- Perform problem analysis, coding, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Develop RICE objects, workflows, AME rules, Oracle Forms and Reports, BI Publisher reports, and Discoverer reports.
- Provide third-tier production support during installations and end-user training.
- Conduct design and code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and use AIM methodology.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, Oracle Managed Cloud Services, and Kofax.
- Support business needs through limited travel, flexible scheduling, and occasional long hours.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and production support of Oracle E-Business applications.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R11i and R12, especially Oracle Financials and HCM modules.
- Experience developing RICE objects, workflows, AME rules, complex Oracle Forms and Reports, BI Publisher reports, and Discoverer reports.
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, OAF, and performance-tuning skills, plus Unix/Linux shell scripting experience.
- Knowledge of SOA concepts, encryption and security protocols, and tools including TOAD, SQL Navigator, PL/SQL Developer, and JDeveloper.
- Preferred experience includes 5–7 years working with XML, JSON, XSLT, and Web Services.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work or military experience is required; high school diploma, associate degree, and master’s degree are listed as education qualifications.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, judgment, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to interpret and create technical publications, diagrams, and project specifications and to work effectively in stressful, time-sensitive situations.
