Sr Software Engineer
YugabyteDBResponsibilities
- Perform security monitoring and detection engineering.
- Manage vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation.
- Administer and improve security tooling.
- Lead platform and image hardening initiatives.
- Support compliance-related security controls.
- Develop security automation, playbooks, and operational readiness capabilities.
- Work with Panther, Wazuh, RapidFort, hardened images, PCI scanning, egress alerting, backup automation, and AI-assisted security workflows.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree.
- 5–8 years of experience in the security domain.
- Strong hands-on automation skills with Bash and Python.
- Practical expertise using AI tools to accelerate engineering and operations.
- Familiarity with modern SaaS infrastructure and application development.
- Familiarity with major security protocols.
- Strong collaboration, transparency, and integrity.
