Base Salary

$177k - $216k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain features across the full technology stack, including database schemas, backend APIs, and user interfaces.
Own projects from inception through production while ensuring high-quality delivery and rapid iteration.
Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, backend engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
Ensure system performance and scalability in high-throughput environments.
Champion coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction and leadership to engineering teams.
Evaluate new tools and frameworks and contribute to continuous platform improvement.

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
At least 6 years of experience building scalable applications across frontend and backend environments.
Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue and frontend design principles.
Extensive experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java and API development.
Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
Proven experience providing technical direction and leadership for a team of engineers.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications include Scala experience, serverless architecture and microservices experience, CI/CD and DevOps experience, exposure to high-volume consumer-facing applications, and familiarity with computer vision or artificial intelligence technologies.
