Base Salary
$87k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Review software requirements for clarity and testability.
- Develop test objectives and design manual and automated test cases.
- Execute tests for new and modified software in an onsite lab environment.
- Analyze test results against specified requirements and document discrepancies.
- Collaborate with test engineers, software developers, system architects, product leads, and Systems Design engineering.
- Report defects, progress, and test results to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics and at least 5 years of experience.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in validation, verification, requirements analysis, and/or testing.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and performance testing methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with DOORS or another requirements traceability tool and with bug tracking and test management tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills are preferred.
