Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable Java APIs and integration services using REST, SOAP, and OData.
- Lead and mentor developers through technical guidance, code reviews, and team leadership.
- Design data models and implement solutions with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Establish architectural standards, design patterns, documentation, and security practices for the integration portfolio.
- Drive CI/CD, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration initiatives.
- Design scalable and resilient solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into secure API solutions and present technical approaches.
- Evaluate and integrate Oracle Integration Cloud or comparable integration platforms.
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance and reliability.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of software development experience, including at least 3–5 years in a senior or lead role.
- Strong proficiency in core Java and scalable Java application development.
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, microservices, monolithic, SOA, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience building and consuming REST, SOAP, and OData web services.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of software security principles and secure-by-design practices.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and related architecture patterns.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud or similar integration platforms is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and technical leadership.
