Responsibilities

Take responsibility for smaller subprojects and independent work packages after a short onboarding period.
Support the development and evolution of the company’s data architecture using modern technologies.
Develop architecture concepts with BI experts and help implement initial Data Analytics use cases.
Build or improve data pipelines and data transformations.
Help introduce, improve, and automate efficient CI/CD workflows.
Continuously optimize Data Analytics solutions by learning new tools and methods.
Share progress independently, seek feedback when needed, and support interns and working students.

Initial practical experience with databases and Data Engineering, gained through internships, working-student roles, or semester projects.
Experience building small data pipelines or performing data transformations.
Initial SQL knowledge and interest in Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Interest in cloud technologies and ideally initial exposure to Microsoft Azure and its data services.
Ideally, knowledge of DevOps methods and CI/CD workflows, preferably with Azure DevOps or GitLab CI.
Initial programming experience in Python or C#/.NET and willingness to learn additional programming languages and frameworks.
Independent and structured working style with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills.
