Base Salary
$114k - $268k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction across domains and define architecture patterns.
- Work flexibly between teams to set direction and unblock initiatives.
- Lead complex initiatives end-to-end, ensuring operational excellence.
- Use modern AI development tools to design and deliver systems.
- Establish practices and guardrails for AI-enabled development.
- Mentor and coach engineers to improve their craft.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor across engineering.
- Represent Hi Marley as a recognized technical leader.
Requirements
- Typically 10+ years of software development experience.
- Proven track record of delivering large, complex systems at scale.
- Experience designing distributed architectures, preferably in AWS.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development and system design.
- Sound judgment in building AI products in a regulated environment.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks like React.
- Ability to influence without authority and communicate complex issues simply.
- Passion for clean code, sound design, and continuous improvement.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
