Responsibilities
- Design and build automated test frameworks across REST and gRPC APIs.
- Use AI and LLM-based tooling for test generation, regression coverage, flaky-test triage, and incident-to-regression automation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Build.
- Design and execute load, stress, scalability, fault-injection, and resilience tests.
- Standardize testing, infrastructure, and developer tooling across engineering teams.
- Investigate application code to identify root causes and drive fixes through completion.
- Partner with teams to improve test coverage, reliability, and delivery speed.
- Mentor product engineers and promote a culture of software quality and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining production software systems.
- At least 1 year of experience with Go and experience using strongly typed programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering and LLM-based tools.
- Experience building and maintaining CI pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions or Google Cloud Build.
- Experience designing automated test frameworks and testing microservices through integration and end-to-end approaches.
- Kubernetes experience beyond the basics, including Helm, security best practices, and relevant job experience or certifications.
- Previous startup experience and the ability to own technical work from requirements through deployment and monitoring.
- Preferred experience with Python, TypeScript, Dockerfiles, secure container images, k6, ghz, pprof, trace, Argo CD, Terraform, Google Cloud Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Tilt, Kubernetes Operators, Chaos Mesh, LitmusChaos, Gremlin, Kafka, or Redpanda.
