Responsibilities
- Design and build automated test frameworks across REST and gRPC APIs.
- Leverage AI and LLM-based tooling for test generation and regression coverage.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Build.
- Design and execute load, stress, and scalability tests.
- Introduce chaos engineering practices to identify failure modes.
- Standardize tooling and infrastructure for improved developer experience.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance test coverage and reliability.
- Investigate application code to resolve failures and implement fixes.
- Mentor product engineers to foster a culture of quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in production systems.
- Proficiency in strongly typed languages with at least 1 year of Go experience.
- Experience with AI-assisted engineering and LLM-based tools.
- Prior experience building and maintaining CI pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions or Google Cloud Build.
- Experience designing automated test frameworks for microservices.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and ability to write Helm charts.
- Experience working in a startup environment and managing technical debt.
- Ability to take tasks from start to finish, including requirement gathering and deployment.
