Base Salary
$160k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical integration delivery for priority customers from first API call through production scale.
- Write TypeScript/Node.js code to build, customize, and debug integrations with payment systems and third-party APIs.
- Debug complex real-world issues live with customers, addressing edge cases and data pipeline failures.
- Build reusable solutions and playbooks to turn one-off customer problems into repeatable wins.
- Translate customer friction into product and engineering insights and communicate them effectively.
- Collaborate with core engineering on reliability, performance, and developer experience improvements.
Requirements
- Strong experience in TypeScript/Node.js with a focus on clean, production-quality code.
- Proven experience building integrations with external APIs, particularly payment and cloud platforms.
- Solid understanding of backend and data fundamentals, including system design and schema modeling.
- Familiarity with common authentication patterns such as OAuth, API keys, and JWTs.
- High ownership mentality with the ability to handle ambiguous, high-stakes situations with customers.
- Background in integration or platform engineering, or as a solutions engineer who writes real code.
