Responsibilities
- Design and develop cryptographic, PKI, and certificate-management systems.
- Define cryptographic standards, architectures, governance, and enterprise security solutions.
- Design and implement automated certificate deployment, renewal, and lifecycle-management processes.
- Develop PKI and certificate automation for microservices, desktops, servers, Windows and Unix hosts, network security devices, and other appliances.
- Integrate PKI and certificate-management technologies with Citi platforms and mission-critical systems.
- Evaluate, test, and certify PKI and cryptography products against internal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide occasional fourth-level support for security product toolsets.
- Document product usage processes and procedures and follow the Technology Development Life Cycle.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with cryptography, cryptographic protocols, algorithms, and related technologies.
- Understanding of information security concepts, best practices, security engineering principles, and enterprise controls.
- Strong engineering background with database knowledge, preferably MSSQL, and scripting experience, preferably PowerShell.
- Experience with commercial Certificate Authority products or certificate-management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of Microsoft Windows and Unix operating systems.
- Understanding of symmetric and asymmetric encryption.
- Experience with HSM platforms and working with Trust Providers is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Information security certification is listed as a qualification.
